“But you, Bethlehem-Ephrathah, least among the clans of Judah, from you shall come forth for me one who is to be the ruler in Israel.” Mi 5:1
Away in a manger, in this little town of Bethlehem, Christ was born in the middle of the night, between an ox and a donkey, surrounded by the love of Joseph, “the Just,” and Mary Immaculate. Perhaps it was a way for Him to tell us that our greatest richness is not so much found in the place where we live or the things that we have, but in the people around us and in the love we give to one another.
On behalf of all the Friars of the Franciscan Monastery, I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, filled with the love of your dear ones and with the Presence of God, source of every true Love.
God bless you,
Father Larry Dunham, OFM
