Join us for the annual Brookland Community Picnic, Saturday, June 15, noon-4pm in our Angel Park on 14th St between Perry and Quincy Streets.

On Saturday, June 15th, 2024, the Brookland Neighborhood Picnic will take place at Angel Park on the grounds of the Franciscan Monastery of the Holy Land in America. Residents, including the friars, will gather for food, games, live music, and face painting.

Co-sponsored by the Franciscan Monastery and the Abbott-Klar Real Estate Group, the event offers a chance to explore the monastery’s garden and church and learn about the Franciscan friars’ work connecting Washington and the Holy Land.
