Due to the public health crisis posed by coronavirus, singer-hymnwriter David Haas has postponed indefinitely both his concert and Lenten retreat day which the Franciscan Sisters of Washington had scheduled here for Friday, March 13 and Saturday, March 14.

Performance by David Haas on Friday, March 13, at 7:00 PM at the Franciscan Monastery of the Holy Land, 14th and Quincy Streets, NE, Washington, DC.

David Haas is an American  author and composer of contemporary Catholic Liturgical music. His best known songs include “Glory to God”, “Blest Are They”, “You Are Mine”, “We Are Called”, “We Have Been Told”, “Now We Remain”, “The Name of God”, and “Song of the Body of Christ”. He has produced over forty-five original collections and recordings of liturgical music.

The concert is $20.00 in advance / $25.00 cash only at door and open to the public; a reception follows the recital. Free off- and on-street parking. Red Line to Brookland/CUA, H6 Metrobus four stops to monastery.
