Friday, August 2nd, is the Franciscan Feast of Our Lady of the Angels. Mass will be held at 7:00 AM in the Monastery’s replica of the Portiuncula in recognition of the Feast of Our Lady of the Angels and the Feast of the Portiuncula. We will be holding our daily 6:00 AM Mass in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel.
PORTIUNCULA INDULGENCE: A plenary indulgence can be gained by the faithful from noon on Thursday, August 1st to midnight on Friday, August 2nd by visiting the monastery church and/or Portiuncula Chapel, reciting the Our Father and Creed for the Holy Father with some other prayer and receiving the sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion.
(Note: The Portiuncula Chapel is open from 7AM to 4PM daily.)
