The Franciscan Monastery of the Holy Land in partnership with the District of Columbia Chapter of the American Guild of Organists presents the 2018-2019 Music at the Monastery concert season.

Join us for an afternoon recital of instrumental and vocal Christmas masterpieces by Handel, Corelli, Buxtehude, Bach, and Scarlatti!

This month’s concert features Kimberly Hess, Organist and Instructor of Music from Memorial Chapel, Fort Meyer, Arlington, VA; Marymount University. Also featuring Sarah Noone, soprano; Jeffry Newberger, violin; Siena Baker, violin; and Timothy Thulson, cello.

Join us each month to enjoy performances on the Monastery’s Lively-Fulcher pipe organ, one of the top organs in the area. Coupled with the sacred beauty of the Franciscan Monastery, it’s an experience that will lift your soul. Concerts begin at 4:00 p.m. with reception to follow.
