In response to the DC Government’s request to close all non-essential businesses, the Monastery is closing the church effective March 26 through April 30th. The upper and lower gardens will remain open every day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Portiuncula Chapel is also open for private prayer only.
Let the sacredness and beauty of the Monastery bring you a deeper experience of the suffering of Christ and Christians around the world through a special tour at 1:00 p.m. each Friday in Lent.
