Join us on Good Friday, via livestream this year, in union with our brothers and sisters in the Holy Land and around the world, and walk with us in prayer as we reenact the Burial of Jesus.

The 2020 Holy Week will be a very unusual one. The rites of the Easter Triduum will be celebrated without the participation of the faithful. In addition, since measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus prohibit gatherings in our churches, the traditional Good Friday Collection for the Holy Land has been postponed to September 13th.

“Easter,” said Father Francesco Patton, Franciscan Custos of the Holy Land, “reminds us that Jesus is stronger than anything, stronger than any evil, including physical illness, including death.”
