Pave the Way to a Brighter Future
In 1898, Fr. Godfrey Schilling sold ten cent paper bricks to raise money for the construction of the Monastery. For the first time since being built, The Franciscan Monastery of the Holy Land in America is offering a wonderful opportunity to help preserve its rich history. You can become a permanent part of the Monastery’s legacy by purchasing a brick for the “Preservation Walk.” Each brick laid upon the walk serves as an example of our dedication to the Monastery’s sacred past and future. The purchase of an engraved brick helps ensure the work of the Holy Land Friars is fulfilled for generations to come.
