Annual Mass & Benefit Dinner

Mass at 5 p.m. followed by reception and dinner at 6 p.m.

For 800 years, Franciscan friars have been messengers of peace in the Holy Land, caring for Christians and others in need and safeguarding the shrines sacred to our faith. The friars provide pastoral care, housing, assistance to refugee families, schools, employment and other programs to help give children and families hope for the future. The Franciscan Monastery of the Holy Land in Washington, D.C., supports this critical mission. Our Monastery is also an oasis of peace in the middle of busy Washington, D.C. There, replicas invite Christians to anticipate a Holy Land pilgrimage. Your gift to the Franciscan Monastery Mass and Benefit Dinner supports the unique mission of friars in the Holy Land and here in America.

Thank you for your support!

This year, we honor the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, represented by its Ambassador to Washington D.C., Dina Kawar, in recognition of the Kingdom’s effort for peace-building and inter-religious dialogue in the Holy Land.

Our entertainment for the evening will be Mezzo-Soprano Jessica Renfro, internationally known opera and oratorio singer. Ms. Renfro has performed with world renown Operas such as Maggio Musicale di Firenze and St. Petersburg Opera.
