March 29

The Franciscan Monastery will celebrate the Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 7:30pm. After Mass, you’re invited to watch and wait with Christ in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament until midnight.

Join us at the Franciscan Monastery of the Holy Land in America on March 22nd for this devotion that offers witness to Jesus’ Passion and Death.

Pray the Stations of the Cross at 2:30 p.m. and witness to the Passion of Christ.
To be held outdoors, weather permitting.

Commemorate the Lord’s Passion with the Franciscan Monastery on Good Friday as part of the Triduum leading up to Easter.

Commemorate the Lord’s Passion with the Franciscan Monastery at 3:30 pm on Good Friday as part of the Triduum leading up to Easter.

This service is a solemn reenactment of The Burial of Christ and is very similar to the ceremony reenacted each year on Good Friday at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.

Sorrow turns to joy as we celebrate the Risen Christ! Observe Easter Sunday at the Franciscan Monastery of the Holy Land in America in Washington DC.

6:00 a.m. (sunrise)  Sorrow turns to joy as we celebrate the Risen Christ! Mass will be held in the Grotto, weather permitting.

Masses will also be held at 8:00 a.m.,
10:00 a.m., and 12:00 noon
